CareCue Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2025
CareCue (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a personal health logging app. This policy describes what data the app uses and where it is stored.
Data storage
- All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that collects or stores your health data.
- Data includes: water intake, sleep logs, medications, mood entries, appointments, and optional voice notes.
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)
- The app may request microphone permission for the voice notes feature (for example, attaching a short recording to a sleep or mood entry).
- Voice recordings are stored only on your device in the app's local storage. We do not upload, transmit, or access these recordings.
- You can decline the microphone permission; voice notes will simply be unavailable.
Other permissions
- Notifications: To remind you about water goals and medication times.
- Calendar (optional): To sync appointments to your device calendar if you enable that feature.
- Camera / photos (optional): To attach a photo of medication if you use that feature.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
